Congratulations Americans! WE the People took America back from our thieving politicians! We won this round! They have succumbed to the pressure of the people.

We circumvented the lobbyists and the special interests by getting out there, speaking up and making our voices heard. And we’re going to have to keep doing it. But let this be an encouraging sign of the power WE THE PEOPLE still have in America! Don’t forget it.

OBAMA DROPS “PUBLIC OPTION” FROM HEALTH CARE PLAN!

House leaders however have said their members will demand the inclusion of a public insurance option, Obama has no plans to insist on it himself, the officials said.

“We have been saying all along that the most important part of this debate is not the public option,but rather ensuring choice and competition,” an aide said. “There are lots of different ways to get there.”

We must make sure that this bill does nothing more than ensure choice and compeitition. If it makes some of the reforms we all know are needed that’s good. But if it goes any beyond that we must speak up again and stop it. Because they will use anything beyond that to incrementally get to the “public option.”

But, WE WON!!! This round. We must remain vigilant and alert to make sure they don’t still try to slip this or other dangerous policies in.

Congratulations you guys!! A great victory! But we have to keep the pressure up! You don’t think they’re going to give up this easily do you!? You know they’re going to come back with some stealthier version of the public option. So let’s keep our eyes out for it and stand up and speak out again when the time is right.
