Becoming Illegal (Sample letter to write and send to your senator)

Dear Senator {throw a name in},

As a native {place your State Here} and paying customer of the Internal Revenue Service, I am writing to ask for your assistance. I have contacted the Department of Homeland Security in an effort to determine the process for becoming an illegal alien and they referred me to you.

My primary reason for wishing to change my status from U.S. Citizen to illegal alien stems from the bill which was recently passed by the Senate and for which you voted. If my understanding of this bill’s provisions is accurate, as an illegal alien who has been in the United States for five years, all I need to do to become a citizen is to pay a $2,000 fine and income taxes for three of the last five years. I know a good deal when I see one and I am anxious to get the process started before everyone figures it out.

Simply put, those of us who have been here legally have had to pay taxes every year so I’m excited about the prospect of avoiding two years of taxes in return for paying a $2,000 fine. Is there any way that I can apply to be illegal retroactively? This would yield an excellent result for me and my family because we paid heavy taxes in 2004 and 2005.

Additionally, as an illegal alien I could begin using the local emergency room as my primary health care provider. Once I have stopped paying premiums for medical insurance, my accountant figures I could save almost $10,000 a year.

Another benefit in gaining illegal status would be that my daughter would receive preferential treatment relative to her law school applications, as well as ‘in-state’ tuition rates for many colleges throughout the United States for my son.

Lastly, I understand that illegal status would relieve me of the burden of renewing my driver’s license and making those burdensome car insurance premiums. This is very important to me given that I still have college age children driving my car.

If you would provide me with an outline of the process to become illegal (retroactively if possible) and copies of the necessary forms, I would be most appreciative.

They protested the use of about $1 trillion to fight an unnecessary war in Iraq. They protested the apparently unregulated policies of the banks, money lenders, and Wall Street financiers who brought this nation into the current recession that has led to an 8.5 percent unemployment rate and several hundred thousand to lose their homes to foreclosure actions. They protested the fact that about 46 million Americans don’t have health insurance, that as many as five million Americans are homeless, about a fourth of them veterans. No they did not do that, if fact they protested about taxes as if they had no Idea about the rest of the problems we are having, did folks forget about the Declaration of Independence , Articles of Confederation and The U.S. Constitution are these documents long forgotten and forever ignored, it seems to be heading that way if we do not stop it and get a hold of our run-away government. We are looking at one of the largest national debts ever, we are putting up with the largest increase in government in history of a government that is to big to begin with.

Why?…why do we not act, why do we sit idly by while our freedoms, our very livelihoods are stripped away from us, our unalienable rights given to us by our creator that our forefathers fought and died to defend. Where are the heros of old, where is the American Spirt, the virtue, the morality, the very fiber of our being? Why the hell are we here? It is not yet to late, we can get back to the basics, get back to what works, get back to what made us Great! But the time grows near for every man woman and child to stand up and say “ENOUGH! We will be silent no more!” This is our country, these are our lives, this is our government, for the people by the people. So get out there talk to your friends, family, neighbors. Get them involved, DO SOMETHING!

Wow now that is something you don’t hear everyday, well maybe some of you do. Or maybe you should. The fact remains that every time someone calls you a name it is because they did not like something you said or did. Have you ever start a sentence with “I am not trying to be an asshole, BUT”? Well then accept your role as an asshole because you are one.

With all the political correctness flying around today, you cannot voice your own opinion with about being labeled as something. If you don’t think we should have gone to war, then you are not patriotic, or you do not support the troops. Or when you think that the story the three little pig is a story and it need not be re-written because it might offend someone. Then you are a racist, you are so many things these days it is hard to keep up. So you know what I think, I would rather be an asshole non- patriotic racist, than someone who just follows popular opinion when I know it is not right, it is not just, and all in all it is just a bad idea.

At one time it was called Freedom of speech and it was protected by a thing called the United States Constitution, yea you might have heard about it “google it” read it you may even want to go against the popular opinion and follow it, or even accept it as the law of the land. Why not after all you are an asshole just like me. I am so tired of left winged liberals twisting anything to their will, the fact of the matter if you believe what your elected officials are telling you with out checking for yourself, you are not part of the club you can not be a true asshole, you are just an idiot.

You are letting someone else run your life out of fear, you don’t think that you can do it yourself, or you don’t think you can do it as good as they can, because they have you convinced that you are nothing with out them, the fact is that the United States and everyone in it can fend for ones self and in till people start taking care of themselves this will just be a vicious circle. You are in control, this is the greatest mass lie out there “there is nothing we can do about it” yes there is, don’t believe the HYPE we have overcome great odds both as Americans and human beings why would you let someone take that away from you.
